FeesAustralian citizens or permanent residents and New Zealand citizensAustralian citizens or permanent residents and New Zealand citizens do not pay tuition fees as the Research Training Scheme (RTS) provides Commonwealth-funded higher degree research candidates with an 'entitlement' to a commonwealth-supported place for the duration of an accredited research course, up to a maximum period of four years full-time equivalent study for a doctorate and two years full-time equivalent study for a masters by research. Where a candidate has had a previous enrolment in a course at the same level, which was not completed and where enrolment was within three years of commencing the new course, prior candidature will be deducted. International student feesAll international candidates studying in Australia are required to pay full fees and be enrolled on a full-fee basis. Course fees are not fixed for the duration of the course may increase throughout the course. International candidates are also required to have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). Candidates who are accompanied to Australia by dependants must have family rate cover for OSHC. Course Finder provides information on course fees for Commonwealth-supported domestic students, and international full-fee paying students.
