The Faculty Research Office offers the following workshop programs in Semester 2 for research students.

Proposed Learning Skills Workshops for HDR Students

1.	10/09/08 2 – 4 pm	Structuring a Research Proposal	This workshop will assist you to prepare for your confirmation, focusing on the organisation of an effective research proposal. *****Completed
2.	24/09/08 2 – 4 pm	Writing a Literature Review	This workshop will focus on dealing with previous research, and constructing theoretical frameworks for your thesis.
3.	15/10/08 2 – 4 pm	Effective Seminar Presentation	This workshop will provide various strategies for effective oral / seminar presentation, with opportunities for participants to practice what they learn.
4.	29/10/08 2 – 4 pm	Writing a Thesis	This workshop will assist to develop different techniques for creating / writing purposeful and effective thesis.

Workshops will be conducted by Ms Nira Rahman, Advisor, Learning Skills Unit, Library.

Venue: Caulfield campus (To be advised upon confirmation of booking)

Time: 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
