2009 HDR Poster Exhibition and 3-minute Thesis Competition

The HDR poster exhibition celebrates the depth, breadth and overall contribution students make to research activities and output at Monash. All current HDR students are invited to submit a poster showcasing their research. 

New for this year, students who submit a poster may also nominate for the 3-minute thesis competition. This involves explaining their research in 3 minutes to an audience of research peers. 

PRIZES will be awarded by the university for posters and to 3 minute thesis winners at the exhibition opening. Up to 2 university prizes of $250 have been allocated to Faculty of Business and Economics students poster exhibitors. Winners will also receive a certificate. The overall winner of 3 minute thesis will receive $1000 and a trophy, second place $200 and third place $100. 3-minute thesis students will also receive a prize pack from the Monash Postgraduate Association.

Faculty Award

The Faculty of Business and Economics will award a prize of $250 to up to 22 Faculty of Business and Economics students whose posters are selected for exhibition. Awards will be presented at the Welcome Function for new research degrees students on 16 September, 2009.

PRIZE WINNERS will be announced at the Opening Ceremony of the Poster Exhibition on 19 August, Campus Centre, Clayton.
