About the School of Business and Economics Gippsland

Under the School of Business and Economics - Gippsland has approximately 30 academic staff across the disciplines of accounting, economics, econometrics, business law, management and marketing. All academic teams are led by a section head and the school is supported by approximately 10 administrative staff.

Total student numbers exceed 1,000 with students undertaking study either on campus or by off campus distributed learning (OCL) or a combination of both. Currently the on-campus programs have a significant group of international students, primarily from Asia.

The School of Business and Economics - Gippsland provides specific programs to meet the vocational education and training needs of industry. These offerings include non-award diplomas for specific industry groups and professional associations which comprise selected subjects from award courses. Other business and government organisations use single subject enrolments to meet their specific needs. Monash University Gippsland Campus

Monash University Gippsland is the only non-metropolitan campus of one of Australia's largest and most dynamic universities. Eight of the ten Monash faculties are represented here, providing a broad array of undergraduate and postgraduate academic programs and research activity in a friendly, welcoming environment.
