The School is home to the Family and Small Business Research Unit (Director, Dr Donna Buttigieg). The Faculty recognises this area of research as competitive with the best national equivalents. Staff in the School are also involved in the research programme of the Institute of Regional Studies. Staff in the School are in a unique position in to pursue interdisciplinary research across the disciplines of accounting and finance, business law and taxation, econometrics, economics, management and marketing. The interest of the local communities in the School’s activities, and the value which the School places on links with those communities has proved extremely advantageous to the School’s staff in conducting field and case study research of national and international significance with the co-operation of local organisations. |
