Vaughan received his first university experience studying at the very university where he now teaches. Graduating with an under-graduate degree in 1992, he returned to the Gippsland Campus in 1994 to complete his Honours Degree. The next year he was invited back as an academic and since then - armed with a PhD also earned from his beloved Gippsland Campus - has worked his way through the ranks to become the Academic Head of Marketing on the Gippsland Campus. Vaughan's teaching interests all lie in the field of sports marketing. That being the case it is no surprise that his research interests should also lie in sports marketing, as well as retailing.
