Prospective Students - Application process

Step 1

Obtain as much information as you can about the course you are interested in.

This may involve contacting the School of Business and Economics Gippsland to obtain brochures or talk about the course you are interested in.

Step 2

Ensure you have the appropriate entry requirements to apply for the course.

If you do not meet entry requirements contact a students services officer to discuss the many pathway options.

Obtain certified copies of your transcripts from previous institutions ie TAFE and Universities.

You will also need to obtain your ENTER score and VCE subject results. You will need to attatch these to your application. Please note the transcripts must contain graded assessment. Monash do not accept competency based results as entry to their courses.

Step 4

OFFCAMPUS

All students wanting to apply for the off campus program must complete the off campus learning application form. Click the link on the right under application forms.

ONCAMPUS

All applications for oncampus must be made through the VTAC process. Please click here to visit the VTAC website for additional informaiton.

Advanced Standing

Advanced Standing is not automatically granted. Please ensure you provide your certified transcripts with graded assessment as well as your certirifed copies of completion certificates with your application so that advanced standing (credit) can be assessed.

Step 5

Once you have compelted your application and submitted it to the Faculty of Business and Economics (offcampus) or VTAC (oncampus) the staff will assess your application and let you know the outcome.

If you are successful the offer letter will tell you what you need to do in terms of accepting, rejecting or deferring your offer.
