Executive ProgramsExecutive programsThe dates for 2009 are:
For the last eleven years, the Faculty of Business and Economics at Peninsula Campus has offered intensive, five day, fully residential Agribusiness Programs to specific industry sectors. These highly reputed programs are directed by Professor John Morris and held at the Mount Eliza Centre for Executive Education. In 2009, Executive Programs is offering a twelfth Food Industry Executive Program, an eighth Produce Executive Program, and following its successful introduction in 2006, the fourth Executive Program specifically for the meat industry. These programs are designed for middle to senior executives throughout the supply chain of each industry sector. They provide the participants an unequalled opportunity to work on current issues with peers from all segments of the respective industries, and also to interact with sectoral industry leaders. Brochures for all programs available in the course of the year. Horticulture Australia generously provide a $2,000 sponsorship of the individual delegate to the Produce Executive Program. These programs are specifically finely tuned to deal with the current issues of the relevant industry sectors. A major element of the program is the opportunity afforded groups of diverse backgrounds throughout the supply chain to work together on problem solving and discussions of industry issues. In addition, the range of expertise of session leaders, and the calibre of guest speakers make this a unique venue for selected industry influencers to gain insight into current and future trends. These programs are targeted to attract aspiring middle and senior industry players to gain insights into key consumer and retail trends, managing relationships between manufacturer and retailer, marketing and brand management and developing the business. They also provide an excellent business sector network for the individual delegate to further lean on and develop in the future. Delegates from a range of companies in all aspects of these industry sectors have found these courses to be excellent - many sending delegates in consecutive years from Australia and overseas. Critical consumer and retail trends, best practice and leading edge developments are discussed within the syndicate groups, and valuable links are forged as problems and case studies are discussed. Participants are asked to evaluate the relevance of the content and their satisfaction with each element of these courses. Most recently, on a scale of 1 – 5, evaluations for both relevance and satisfaction have been at 4.7. Typical comments from participants include: ‘ … undoubtedly the best learning program I have participated in’ ‘ … potentially life changing’ ‘ … outstanding’ ‘ … extremely relevant and useful and the interaction within the group was fantastic’ For further details and brochures please contact Anita Pike
