The Bachelor of Business and Commerce is the Faculty's global undergraduate degree, offered at the Malaysian and South African campuses and other international locations as well as Peninsula campus.

About the Bachelor of Business & Commerce

The Bachelor of Business and Commerce is a three-year full-time or six-year part-time course that provides maximum flexibility yet ensures depth and breadth of study. Students can choose their area of specialisation as soon as they first enrol or they can sample the various first year units and then choose their specialisation. The course is also flexible in regard to unit choice because it allows a large number of electives. Some of these units may be taken with the Faculty of Business and Economics at other campuses or with other faculties of Monash University.

Double major

Students may undertake a double major, combining any two majors within the Bachelor of Business and Commerce. A second major can also be taken from majors offered at other Monash campuses or by other Monash faculties. In this way, a student can develop competencies and increase their career options by completing two major areas of study within the three year degree program.  Both majors will be printed on the degree testamur.

Double Degree

The Bachelor of Business and Commerce/Bachelor of Sport and Outdoor Recreation allows you to combine study in both business and commerce and sport and outdoor recreation to ensure you graduate with the skills and knowledge to work in a range of challenging careers.

Joint Degree

This three-year degree gives students professional recognition in psychology and a major in business.

Summer Semester Study

The Faculty of Business and Economics at Peninsula campus offers units over summer semester. Students are advised to ask Faculty Student Services staff for advice on how they may make best use of summer semester. Many summer semester units are available only on a full-fee basis.
