Course Information
The Bachelor of Business and Commerce is the Faculty's global undergraduate degree, offered at the Malaysian and South African campuses and other international locations as well as Peninsula campus.
About the Bachelor of Business and Commerce
It is a three-year full-time or six-year part-time course that provides maximum flexibility yet ensures depth and breadth of study. Students can choose their area of specialisations as soon as they first enrol or they can sample the various first year units and then choose their specialisation. The course is also flexible in regard to unit choice because it allows a large number of electives. Some of these units may be taken with the Faculty of Business and Economics at other campuses or with other faculties of Monash University.
Graduates of the course have:
- fundamental knowledge of general principles and applications of business and commerce;
- technical and communication skills and knowledge;
skills in problem-solving in business and commerce;
- knowledge of the local and international business and commercial environments.
Special features of the degree at Peninsula include
- unique major in International Business.
- the opportunity to accelerate the program and complete a degree in less than three years by enrolling in summer semester at Peninsula campus
- the opportunity to combine university study with full time professional employment through the Work Integrated Learning program.
