Important information for re-enrolment

  1. Course Progression Requirements

Further to the joint decision to cease taking new students into Monash University courses at TMC in Singapore, and our commitment made to teach out current business students. Students are reminded that over time, the business unit offerings will be rationalised resulting in certain units not being available through the TMC supported mode. Where such decisions are made, students will be informed of alternative enrolment options.

To assist students to plan their progression through the business programs, the Faculty of Business and Economics will continue to provide individual course plans taking into account chosen majors and areas of interest. Where possible, students should enrol in the units suggested. This will assist TMC in providing class sizes that allow students to network with a larger group, which is conducive to their learning environment.

Are you sure you are enrolling in the correct units for your course? You must complete your course requirements within the credit points required to complete the course. Do not anticipate that you will be given approval to extend you enrolment past the number of credit points required.

  2. Unit information - Undergraduate Handbook

For specific information on units offered within each major, please contact TMC Academy.

The 2010 unit information will be available via the link above from 1 October 2009.

  3. Important Enrolment Dates

Check here for key dates relating to your enrolment.

If you do not enrol by the due date you may be charged a late fee, and/or lose you place in your course.

  4. Study Session Schedule

In addition to the comprehensive unit materials and the online MUSO support tools provided by Monash University to students, TMC Academy provide students with local discussion based study sessions that support the unit materials. Attendance is not compulsory, however students are recommended to attend so that they might network with other students and seek guidance from the TMC local unit administrators. Note that the sessions are designed for discussion rather than teaching, and therefore students must commence their own reading and preparation for the unit in week one of semester, rather than waiting for the first TMC study session to commence. By its very nature, off-campus learning requires independent learning and progression through the unit materials.

TMC Academy will provide students with the study schedule approximately one week before the commencement of each semester.
