Our academic development program is designed to assist you with the process of managing life, learning and work by providing you with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours required to develop and manage your studies and career path more effectively.
The ADEPT program is exclusively for our current Business and Economics postgraduate students and designed to further develop and enhance your academic skills. This free program provides you with more opportunities to increase your study abilities and contribute to your study outcomes. ADEPT will help you develop better study habits, deepen your academic analysis skills, and refine and revise your communication skills.
Sometimes embedded into your unit of study, or taken as stand alone workshops through the Library, ADEPT is delivered by highly qualified and experienced staff and encompasses: academic skills needed in all units, support with assignments, and exam skills. You can register for the academic skills workshops through the Library class booking system in your my.monash portal.
Aimed at Business and Economics postgraduate students, the MARS Moodle site is divided into topics designed to improve your academic performance. It houses research and academic skills resources, links, video clips and Library workshop materials. New events such as upcoming workshops and Google hangouts will be advertised on the site.
Because it's online and the instructions are in videos, there's no need for you to sit through the stuff that doesn't interest you!
You will be able to self-enrol in the MARS moodle site at the start of semester. Details will be available at our Faculty orientation.
