Michael P. Clements, Warwick

Mike Clements is a Reader in Economics at the University of Warwick. He is an editor of the International Journal of Forecasting. He is a co-editor of A Companion to Economic Forecasting, and has co-authored two books on forecasting, as well as a number of journal articles.

Jan G. De Gooijer, Amsterdam

Jan De Gooijer is Professor of Economic Statistics in the Department of Quantitative Economics at the University of Amsterdam. His research interests include modelling and analysing time series, with a specific focus on non-linearity, non-parametric methods, and forecasting. Professor De Gooijer is an elected member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) and is a former Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Forecasting.

Robert Fildes, Lancaster

Robert Fildes is Professor of Management at Lancaster University, and Director of the Lancaster Centre for Forecasting. He has previously held the positions of Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Forecasting and President of the International Institute of Forecasters.

Anne Koehler, Miami

Anne Koehler is a Professor in the Department of Decision Science, Miami University, Ohio, and a leading US researcher on applied business forecasting. She is a member of the committees of the International Institute of Forecasters and Decision Science Society, and an associate editor of the International Journal of Forecasting.

Spyros Makridakis, INSEAD

Spyros Makridakis is a Research Professor at INSEAD. He is the author or co-author of many highly influential books and papers on forecasting. One book has sold more than 120,000 copies in twelve languages. He has extensive consulting experience with business and has a keen interest in new technologies. He has been Chairman of a telecom company. He was also the founding Editor-In-Chief of the International Journal of Forecasting and the Journal of Forecasting.

Keith Ord, Georgetown

Keith Ord is Professor of Decision Sciences in the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He is co-author of the latest editions of Kendall's Advanced Theory of Statistics, and an editor of the International Journal of Forecasting. His research interests include time series and forecasting, inventory modelling, and spatial processes.

Haiyan Song, Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Haiyan Song is Chair Professor and Associate Director of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is one of the world's leading experts in tourism demand modelling and forecasting, and has co-authored two books and many academic papers on tourism forecasting. He is Editor-in-Chief of China Tourism Research and has editorial responsibilities with 7 other journals.

Heather Anderson, ANU

Heather Anderson is a Professor in the School of Economics, Australian National University. Professor Anderson's main research interest is nonlinear time series analysis, with an emphasis on macroeconomic and financial applications. She has published in The Review of Economics and Statistics, The Journal of Applied Econometrics and The Journal of Econometrics, and is currently on the editorial board of The Journal of Applied Econometrics.

Ron Bewley, UNSW

Ron Bewley is Professor of Econometrics at the University of New South Wales. His research interests encompass theoretical and empirical time series analysis, forecasting applications and demand analysis. His international reputation as a scholar is reflected by his associate editorship of the International Journal of Forecasting. The number of large corporations and financial institutions that have retained him as a consultant is a testament to his capacity to apply his knowledge in ways that benefit the Australian community.

Chandra Shah, CEET

Chandra Shah is a Senior Research Fellow in the ACER-Monash University Centre for the Economics of Education and Training (CEET). He has done work on projecting labour demand by occupations due to labour turnover, and labour market training needs for planning purposes. His other work includes estimating supply of graduates from higher education and TAFE Institutes.

Farshid Vahid, ANU

Farshid Vahid is a Professor in the School of Economics, Australian National University. Professor Vahid has published papers in top ranking economics/econometrics journals. He is a member of the team that developed the Engle-Granger-Ramanathan-Vahid model, which won a real time hourly electricity load forecasting competition conducted by the Electric Power Research Institute in the United States.
