Emerging Research Strength B

Tourism Training and Education

Tourism training and education have become significant cornerstones to the sustainable development of the industry and practice in general. Training and education are undertaken in broad contexts and for many possible groups, such as industry, volunteers, students, colleagues, management, staff, government and so on. Research includes tourism training interventions, evaluation of training outcomes, competency standards research, the analysis of current offerings and gaps in tourism educational content, styles, distribution, access, delivery modes and issues relating to certification and accreditation.
