Emerging Research Strength ETourism Business, Attractions and Events ManagementTourism business viability / commercial sustainability, seasonality, benchmarking / best practice, SME's; and service delivery are all part of tourism business research. Attractions management research is targeted at attractions including, but not limited to, zoos; theme parks; museums; and indigenous, cultural and heritage sites. Events management research may be targeted at, but not limited to, regional festivals, wine/food events, business events, sporting events. Research on events and attractions may examine issues such as the important role these events/attractions play in attracting tourists to a destination, or community attitudes to events.
